We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to manage the financial records and ensure accuracy in all accounting processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers, performing account reconciliations, assisting with budget preparation, and handling general bookkeeping duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports
• Conduct regular account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare and file VAT returns, tax filings, and assist with audits
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Handle payroll processing and associated reporting
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accounting software
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience as an accountant or similar role (minimum 2-3 years preferred)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations (e.g., IFRS, UK GAAP)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, etc.)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
