As an Industrial & Manufacturing Engineer at our client company based in Faisalabad, you will have the opportunity to utilize your knowledge, experience, and creativity to develop novel solutions at the cutting edge of foundry technologies. You will be challenged to contribute directly to the development of all processes within the foundry while providing creative input into the design and development of new and existing products.

Qualification: BE/BSc Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering.

Experience: 2-3 years of relevant work experience.

Required skills:

• Hands-on using Microsoft office tools

• Good knowledge of statistical quality control and lean tools

• Knowledge of foundry processes

• Passion for taking up challenges 

• Proficient in technical report writing

• Good interpersonal communication

• Team player

Key responsibilities:

• Assess foundry specific manufacturing processes with an aim to minimize scrap and rework.

• Plan and lead routine process walks to identify and quickly resolve production issues.

• Develop man-machine systems to efficiently collect and analyze process data.

• Apply lean techniques to minimize non value-adding process steps and overall work content.

• Identify and implement safety improvements throughout the factory.

• Identify training opportunities and generate tools to educate foundry staff on advanced processing and sand casting fundamentals.

• Provide expert feedback regarding part quality, process risks, and improvement opportunities.

• Design operational metrics to appraise performance of various foundry departments

• Collaborate with customers to develop products with improved safety, reliability and casting quality.
