| Job Description: |
Job Title:Civil Engineer.
Duty Station: Islamabad with extreme travel to program areas.
Reporting to:
Associate Civil Engineer.
Position Objective:
To manage, coordinate and evaluate all tasks and designs related to structural aspects of projects in various stages of development, execution and operations within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Undertaking technical feasibility studies including site investigations and analyzing data (maps, reports, tests drawings and others) for civil work projects.
- Develop detailed diagrams using Auto CAD and range of computer software’s.
- Monitor budgets and project resources for civil work projects.
- Ensure Compliance to legal requirements and Health Environment Safety Standards.
- Oversee and analyze the results of soil testing to determine the adequacy and Strength of foundations of structures.
- Monitor and ensure quality standards and proper construction administration, as per approved plans.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates including material and labor for construction of schools, Community Health Center, Mini Dams, Water Filtration Plans and other WASH facilities.
- Prepare Economic Feasibility of projects.
Minimum Requirement
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from HEC recognized university, member of Pakistan engineering Council.
Skill Set:
- Ability to work within large teams.
- Sound mathematical scientific and IT skills.
- Ability to think methodically and to manage projects.
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to maintain an overview of the entire project
- Complete Knowledge of relevant legislation.
