Evening Fixed Timings: (5 PM - 2 AM)
Day: 5 days a week ( Sat & Sun Off )
Salary: ( Depending on relevant experience )
The Payment Posting Specialist position is responsible for all functions essential in the posting of all collected and adjusted payments for providers and/or facility services.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensure payments are posted in the practice management system in a timely manner
- Payments processed include EOB posting, adjustments electronic transfers, credit cards lockboxes, GL transfers and payments made at the front office.
- Utilize payment portals or make phone calls to obtain EOBs
- Review Explanation of Benefits (EOB) for denials and underpayment of codes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years posting experience payment posting role
- Knowledge of posting payments in medical billing software
- Knowledge of the Medical Billing Cycle
