RIKSOF is an award-winning mobile and web app development company with its headquarters in Karachi. We are currently on the lookout for highly motivated Trainee IT Support Engineers. In this role, you should be able to work in a challenging environment with seniors. You should have excellent personal, organizational and technical skills. Hired candidates will have the opportunity to work on high visibility and technically complex projects.
- Troubleshoot server-side and database issues.
- Manage data and application backups and restoration.
- Ensure the health of production and staging environments.
- Write automated scripts to perform repeated tasks.
- Perform other support activities.
- Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g software developers etc).
- Actively update, maintain and monitor all aspects of computer networks.
- Refer to internal databases or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions.
Technical Skills
- Strong background in IT networking.
- Strong working knowledge of server side, hardware, and databases.
- Strong working knowledge of linux based operating systems.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows.
- Install and configure computer systems and applications within the company.
Desired Languages: Javascript or Typescript
