Tech Nation is seeking a Mobile Developer who has a strong production background in React Native to join us in developing premium native experiences for our consumers. In this role, you will deliver a well designed, highly testable, and resilient mobile applications.

You will also be instrumental in driving our mobile technology roadmap forward and evangelizing mobile development and testing practices. The successful candidate is both deeply experienced with mobile development and a team player that thrives in a collaborative agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Developing our cross-platform mobile app with React Native
• Building reusable components and libraries for future reuse
• Participate in sprint planning, code review, and continual learning
• Debug problems, write documentation, and tests where required
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of mobile devices

Requirements:

• 2-5 years experience as a frontend developer
• Strong proficiency in React Native
• Proficiency in JavaScript ES5/ES6, CSS3 and HTML5
• Strong experience and interest and passion for modern JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Work in react and react native across desktop, mobile, and tablet applications.
• Experienced with web services: REST and JSON Formatting
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality
• Ability to communicate effectively with remote and local teams
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities
• An eye for good mobile design and user experience
• Experience with Android and iOS frameworks and libraries
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

Nice to Have

• Experience with Swift and iOS SDK
• Experience with Native Android SDK (Kotlin and/or Java)
