A brief overview of the division:
We are planning to provide an alternative to classical marketing platforms while delivering the message to a precise audience at affordable packaging. The messages will be delivered electronically to the potential of all mobile subscribers and famous app users. The service will not only serve to exist clients base that is spending marketing budgets on more experience options but also target to expand the customer base to those who cannot afford to deliver their messages to unintended audiences. We have a nationwide plan to expand it. The core of success will be dependent upon setting up efficient operations and continuous innovation to enable growth-oriented digital platforms. Our customers will not only use us for promotion but also increase their customer retention and satisfaction.
Role Summary:
Establish and lead the technical department of the division.
At the broad level - the technical tasks can be categorized in the following:
(1) SMS platform: this is the main service that we will offer - the messaging platform. The platform will link our target customers to CMO/app (e.g. WhatsApp, Facebook etc.) subscribers. Technically the operations need to be set up where we can connect with our clients (e.g. via web/app/software interface) and collect requirements that will be translated to CMOs/apps for a selection of target audience and then delivery of the message
(2) Database: we will be capturing data at each touchpoint in this echo system and this will happen at a national level. The data needs to be captured electronically, stored safely and then explored and analyzed meticulously to extract information
The position will require exceptional leadership role since the candidate will build a technical department from scratch and will oversee the teams delivering the requirements captioned above. The role also entails frequent interactions with technical counterparts of Telecom operators etc. and does require extensive exposure to presentation skills. Another key requirement is to create and support a very healthy culture in the department where all the team members have no barriers in open communication and sharing of ideas for continuous improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present the overall technical strategy of the department
- Management of overall technical scope of work, vendor selection and finalization, service commissioning and integration, support services, database storage, security and a future path for evaluation of technology
- Technical team development to manage the network operations along with management of data & dashboard effectively
- Effective utilization of technical teams – lead from the front and get the technical tasks done as per timelines.
- Management of client and supplier side interconnection to deliver exceptional quality services
- Preparation and implementation of technical policies and procedures to ensure the department is recognized as an efficient unit to both clients and suppliers. The services we offer should be best in the industry in terms of quality/price matrix
